You Can Make Glass Beads!

If you have ever wanted to try your hand at making your own glass beads, this class is for you!

This hands-on workshop is about half lecture/demo, half workshop/practice where you learn how to lampwork your own unique glass beads at home with very little equipment. Your beads will make great accents for your jewelry. You'll leave the class with a handful of beads you made yourself!

Until recently, glass beadmaking required an expensive oxygen-propane torch and large oxygen tanks. This has prohibited many people from getting involved in bead making.

Students watch and practice all these techniques in a Beginning 6 hr. Beadmaking Class.

The HOT HEAD, an inexpensive non-oxygen torch that allows anyone to set up at home to make their own unique glass beads is now available. A complete "beginner's bead-making kit" is now available for under $100, and includes everything you need to get started- torch head, fuel, glass rods, and much more.

This class will teach you how fun, safe and easy it is to make your own beautiful glass beads!
