Silky Chokers Cord, Simple 16" or 18" with Metal Clasp

This clean, simple cord makes a classic choker to show off any bead beautifully. Can accomodate a bead made on 1/8" mandrel if you remove & replace the jump ring on the clasp. Larger bead holes work great, but we recommend treating the inside of your bead hole to seal it so it will not cause undue wear on the choker. Try a wire-wrapped bail or simply use a beadhugger finding!

Clasp is a standard metal lobster clasp. Available lengths are approximately 16" or 18", as specified in the drop down menu.

Beadable Handle Kit

Wonderful hardware to make your own drawer handles or cabinet pulls! Install vertically or horizontally! You'll receive two brass or chrome colored decorative parts, plus 2 screws & 2 washers to complete the installation of one handle per kit.

Here's how they work: Each handle part has a prong, approximately 1/2" long, which will insert into both ends of your bead. If you don't want to file or cut the prongs, your beads should be at least 1 1/8" long. The prongs will fit into holes made with 3/32" mandrels, when the bead release was applied a little thickly (most of our 3/32" holed beads fit, but not all of them). 1/8" bead holes are no problem. Your handle placement (where to drill your holes)depends on the bead length and how it seats with the handle parts. If the bead ends are under 3/8" in diameter, they will slip into a recessed cup on the handle part. Beads look lovely either way. The screws are all 3 mm metric and may not fill an existing cabinet hole if you are exchanging hardware, but the handle base will easily cover a larger hole.

Our assembled kits come with (2)30 mm phillips-head screws & 2 washers. See the chart below (it's at the very bottom of this page) to calculate which screw length will best suit your needs. Shorter & longer screw lengths are available for a nominal charge. Each screw packet has two screws and two washers. The dimentions listed in the chart are approximate and represent the thickness of the wood cabinets that you will be installing the hardware into. You can add washers or countersink your holes to adjust for a tight fit for any cabinet thickness. Our washers are size 6, with OD of 3/8", but additional washers could be utilized.

This is a limited supply item. Please order only (1) one if you are not sure if this item will work for you, as we will not accept returns for more than one Beadable Handle Kit, due to quantities on hand. Upon request, we'd be happy to hold the quantity you need until you verify if this product suits your needs.

FYI: Our copper tubing fits well in the prongs if you want beads to slide or spin more freely or want to use multiple smaller beads. We recommend using 3/16" mandrels if you plan to make beads to install this way.
