Shipping within the U.S.A. International Shipping Return Policy
     


SHIPPING WITHIN THE U.S.A.
We offer flat rates for shipping to make it easy for you to calculate the total cost of your shipping, if you live in the Contiguous U.S.A. Often these rates are less than what we pay to ship your order.

For orders totaling $50 or less: we add $6.95 for shipping
For orders totaling $50-$100: we add $8.95 for shipping
For orders totaling $100-$150: we add $10.95 for shipping
For orders totaling over $150: we offer FREE SHIPPING!

A few items, such as Kilns, Minor torches, and Regulators are not eligible for free shipping. Shipping cost is calculated into the on-line cost and will be deducted if you make arrangements for pick-up.

We generally use UPS ground for orders weighing over one pound or two pounds.  At our discretion, we will use Priority Mail if the order is light weight AND to do so will not delay your order, especially if it will arrive faster than UPS.  If you request Priority mail on packages over one pound, it  may actually delay your order and alter the shipping cost, which we pass on to you if it is above our flat rate fees.  We need a physical address so that we can ship via UPS.

COD: We can ship your order (Contiguous US) COD if you desire. The UPS surcharge for this service is $9.00. Since on-line orders cannot be securely transmitted to us without a valid credit card, you may call in or FAX your order and request COD delivery. We will notify you of the date of delivery and the amount of the cashier's check or money order (made payable to Heritage Glass) that you'll need to give the UPS driver.

Orders are usually filled and shipped by the next day! Often, we ship the same day. If an order will be delayed more than two days, we try to notify you. We are happy to quote UPS expedited rates if you desire faster shipping time: Next Day Air, Second day Air, Three Day Select. The rate we charge for this service is exactly what we pay. There is no "Free Shipping" credit for expedited shipping requests.

Hawaii, Alaska, and Puerto Rico:
We generally use Priority mail for Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico. We'll just ship to you honoring our regular shipping policy if your package is under one pound in weight. However, for most packages, we do charge actual shipping charges if the cost is greater than our published "flat rate" fees based on your purchase amount. Please expect that there may be a slightly greater ship charge if you live in one of these locations.  There is no "Free Shipping" credit for orders shipped to Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING POLICY
We have many International customers, so we would be happy to have you order with us!! Due to the additional time it takes to complete customs documents and communicate your shipping quote, we now charge a $7 processing fee for every International order. We cannot give an exact shipping estimate to your country until your order is placed. Shipping estimates are all based on the size or weight of the package. When we receive your order, we calculate the cost of Express Mail International (formerly called Global Express) shipping with Insurance and e-mail you the quote.  We no longer offer other shipping options for International shipments.

When we receive your order, we will pull the order, pack your items securely, and weigh the box. We then e-mail the total merchandise cost and the cost of Express Mail International, including insurance, if available. When you authorize us to ship, we then complete your billing and send your order right out. If you would like your order to be processed as quickly as possible, please select the Next to Last  Box in the list of shipping options just below the shopping cart (see the example below) OR type "I do not need shipping quote" or "I authorize the Express Mail Int'l shipping" in a note in the "Special Instruction or Comments" box, which will appear at the end of the ordering process.

Example of the box from the shipping option online which pertains to International Shipping:

  add $0.00 for Express Mail International. Checking this box gives us approval to add actual Post Office rates Express Mail International,  incl. insurance to your total. There is a $7 processing fee for all Int'l orders. We now use only Express Mail International.
   add $0.00 for We will quote your Express Mail International shipping cost and the $7 Int'l processing fee via E-mail for International shipments. By checking this box, you agree to check your e-mail and respond within one week to authorize your shipment.

Before you select PLACE ORDER, and proceed to the SECURE SERVER, check one of the boxes to select the International shipping option from the list of boxes which will appear below your shopping cart. An example of the shipping option boxes is shown below. (The cost will not be $0.00.) 

This table is simply an Example of Shipping costs for a few of the Express Mail International rates to five different countries. These rates are all based on a seven pound package, which is the approximate weight of a Beadmaking Starter Kit. These are actual US Post Office Rates and may change without notice.

If your package is sent via Express Mail International, we will assist you if tracking is necessary. We are not responsible for damages or replacement if uninsured packages are lost or stolen in transit to International destinations.





RETURN POLICY
Your complete satisfaction is of utmost importance to us. If any product is damaged or defective, we will replace the product or offer a complete refund.

If you change your mind, order too many, or can't use the product like you thought you could, please call ahead for return authorization. We are happy to exchange any product for you or apply an "in-store credit" for the purchase price of any merchandise returned in un-used condition. We will automatically apply this credit to any future purchase you make with us. Shipping costs are not refundable, return shipping is your responsibility. If an error was made on our part, we pay shipping costs, of course. If you prefer a credit card refund for a merchandise return, a 15% restocking fee will be applied.

Our helpful staff is happy to assist you by describing tools and their use, selecting glass rod or explaining the use of products we sell. We specialize in individual attention! Some items, such as Hardware kits, may have Return limitations, Please read descriptions carefully before you purchase.  Glass rod of any type is not eligible for return, but if we make a mistake, we will fix the problem ASAP!

 

BUSINESS HOURS

Our primary focus is to offer reliable and efficient customer support. Speedy shipping is a service we know is meaningful to our customers, so we process orders daily. Our on-line store is open 24 hrs. a day, seven days a week.  If you do not wish to place an order on our secure website, we also welcome phone and Fax orders. You can also E-mail order requests and we can call you back for your billing information. Though our phone support hours do fluctuate, we try to be available Monday- Friday from 9 am- 5 pm Central time. If you do not get through by phone, please leave your name and phone number and your call will be returned promptly. If we are busy with another customer, we may not be able to take your call the moment it comes in. We do appreciate your patience if you have to leave a message. We are happy to take your call and enjoy helping to answer any questions you may have. We strive to provide support and help for the lampworking community, even if it is not directly related to the products we sell.

We are a web-based supplier, so we are not open to the public for drop in shopping. Since we do have local customers and students who live nearby, we are happy to fill your order and place it in the pick-up area to save any shipping costs to you. If you wish to visit our facility to shop in person, it is necessary to make an appointment. Mondays are not a good time to plan a visit. Often, we can have your order ready if you just want to hand pick your glass. We appreciate 24 hrs. notice if you plan to be in the area and wish to stop in. 

We welcome visitors to our La Beada Loca meetings, which are held monthly. Please see our local class page  http://heritageglass.com/localclass.htm  for details on the date and time. This is an excellent chance to shop in person because there is often a "special" for the meetings, as well as demos, lots of new bead friends to meet, bead exchanges and refreshments.

PAYMENT OPTIONS

We accept Visa, Mastercard and  Discover Cards. We also accept Cash (in person only), Personal Checks (in person or mail order), Cashier's Checks or Money Orders (for COD orders please).  Sorry, but we do not accept PAYPAL at this time. The minimum purchase amount for a credit card sale is $20. If your purchase is under $20, there is a $1 surcharge to cover credit card fees and processing. Thank you for your business!
 

 


PRIVACY POLICY for Heritage Glass, Inc.

If you make a purchase with us, either by phone, Fax, mail or through our online secure shopping cart, we will collect information about you to enable us to process your order. This information will include your full name, billing address, shipping address, telephone number, e-mail address (if you choose to supply it) and credit card information.  This information is stored securely and protected from any unauthorized use.

We do not use any of your personal information for any purpose other than to process your order or to communicate with you about your order or about products and services in which you have expressed an interest.  We use your e-mail address in order to relay shipping confirmation to you through UPS or the U.S.P.S. about a specific shipment so you will know the method and time of your shipment.

We do not sell, rent, swap or authorize any customer information to any third party or use your e-mail address without your permission. If you wish to receive e-mail updates about Classes that Heritage Glass sponsors, please ask us to add your name & e-mail address to the Beadmaking Classes e-mail notification list. We do not automatically add your e-mail address to any lists without your request.

La Beada Locas is a group of glass beadmakers that meets monthly at Heritage Glass Studio. The meetings are fun and informative, often involving a demonstration, open torch time or teacher reception. The suggested dues are $2 per meeting. More information can be found at www.LaBeadaLocas.net  If you live nearby & desire to receive monthly e-mail notifications about these meetings, please ask us to add your name and e-mail address to our La  Beada Locas e-mail notification list. 

We do not currently use any information you provide to us for direct marketing either by phone or e-mail, but we reserve the right to use your e-mail address in the future to notify you of a product that may be of interest to you. If and when we use your e-mail address for marketing directly to you about our products, you will be given an opportunity to opt out .
